Excimer IR

The excimer lamp functions in an inert environment , as this form of irradiation is almost totally absorbed by present atmospheric oxygen. The perfect distribution of the nitrogen supply in the chamber is very relevant, as it guarantees quality and keeps the nitrogen consumption under control. The process is completed by traditional gallium and mercury lamps for final curing.

After flash off, the excimer treatment is performed. This special UV treatment achieves a so-called physical matting, by micro-structuring the lacquer layer. Light reflection is reduced to a minimum and the final surface has a very pleasant silky touch. The result is a matt, highly scratch resistant and silky touch surface.
