Industrial Wood Flat Dryers for Furniture & Building - Superfici

pre-heater

The Superfici America Workpiece Pre-heater UMI pre-heating modular unit, is used to reach a certain surface temperature of the work-pieces before lacquering, thus achieving a better lacquer flow. The hood uses the IR irradiation to efficiently transfer heat onto the substrate to be lacquered. The hood can be fitted up with three, six or nine lamps according to the required temperature differential and to the line feed speed. The hood is generally installed onto cross bar conveyors.

The Superfici America series of flat dryers includes diverse types of dryers to be used when fast drying times are a necessity for production.

The systems can have different ventilation, counter-flow or percussion systems.

Thanks to the fast-drying cycle the Superfici America  airblade dryer is ideal for drying of water lacquers and colors. The preheated air is fed into a manifold which feeds a series of air blades that hit the panel with knocking air perpendicular to the surface of the piece. In the dryer, infrared lamps alternating with the air blades can be integrated in order to speed up the drying process.

Fast flash-off system for water-borne lacquers. This type of dryer uses infrared irradiation with various wave lengths in the different phases of the process together with forced ventilation. This combination activates the evaporation process from deep inside the lacquer layer towards the outside.

jet airblade dryer

The Superfici America Jet Airblade flat dryer features a recycling ventilation system with high performance centrifugal fan which conveys air into a special design collecting hood allowing a uniform distribution with minimum losses to the air blades. Thanks to its high efficiency, the dryer is normally used for fast flash off cycles or for the drying of water-borne lacquers or stains. The dryer can eventually also be equipped with infrared lamps placed in-between the blades to accelerate the drying process.

Superfici America linear dryers use hot and high-speed air, making them ideal for drying of water lacquers and colors. The preheated air is fed into a manifold which feeds a series of air blades that hit the panel with knocking air perpendicular to the surface of the piece. In the dryer, infrared lamps alternating with the air blades can be integrated in order to speed up the drying process.

Linear dryer uses hot air at high speed. A centrifugal fan that sends the air to a series of circular section nozzles, arranged diagonally in relation to the feed, obtaining a semi-closed-circuit ventilation system. Thanks to the particularly high air speed, the dryer is ideal for quick drying of the colors. It’s possible to inserted infrared lamps to use the radiation action in addition to the action of percussion air.

laminar counter-flow dryer UMI-UMA

LAMINAR Counter-Flow Dryer UMI-UMA -  through-feed flat dryer for the flash off or drying of lacquers. Inside the dryer an optimum environment is guaranteed to ease the flash off or, if requested, to achieve the total drying of the lacquer layer. The system generates a controlled hot air flow, which goes along the work-piece surface in a counter-flow direction, thus opposite to the line feed.
