Edge Filler
The belt application unit NST2 designed for the application of fillers, base coats, and top coats. The working principle behind this system is found in the silk-screening process: the edge to be varnished goes through a plastic template which also works as a doctor blade, controlling the amount of material applied. The material is conveyed to the
edge by means of a nylon belt which runs between the template and the
edge and applies the varnish. There is no waste of material whatsoever:
the unused material is reclaimed and recycled continuously. The applied amount of lacquer can be finely dosed within a 5-70 gr/sqm range in one pass. The unit is covered by a Superfici / Valtorta patent.
